Swung by a carwash. Bird wanted to be one of us. Why does society's boundaries prevent him from being one of us?

Experiment in the kitchen, using only what i had at the time in the fridge. Chicken, Chinese sausage, cucumber and lettuces in stir fried rice in a random miso/soy/ginger/honey goo. Next time i should add an egg. Best random effort to date!

Lovely night with Andrew and Terri. Talking about 'our feelings' and 'life goals and ambitions' at a bar named Crossroads before checking out SBTRKT, which was good.

We went on to play Settlers of Catan until 5 in the morning. Like anyone who is still up at 5 on a Saturday morning, we soaked in the morning-after-a-big-night-out dew and trudged our way undeservedly to the nearest Maccas.

This summarizes what my 26yo self does on Friday nights.

This is what I wake up to every morning. I think it is important to know what the first thing you see when you wake up everyday. It might be a 'reflection of who you are' or 'a deep look into your soul'.

This particular morning, I woke up quite happily, only to be sad 3 seconds later of the day to come. If this happens for another 2 weeks, I will need to move on.

Saw some chickens in a community garden at St Kilda. It was quite a contrast having it right next to Melbourne Luna Park.

Never understood the idea behind having a big celebration for your birthday. The attention is quite unbearable. I decided to mark passing the quarter century point with a chicken pie. I treated myself by paying that extra 25c for the tomato sauce, because quite frankly, I think I earned it getting this far.
