Fantastic Adventure

I just released a novel called Fantastic Adventure.

I lied, I didn't.

Hendrick’s Gin Illustrations

Was doing some homework on Hendrick's Gin; the visuals are absolutely amazing! Not sure if it's getting the attention it deserves.

Squeegee

I was recently mildly fascinated by the whole 'squeegee men at traffic lights' thing and my curiosity took me to Window Cleaning Magzine and some wiki articles..

Fact #1: In London, they are called Squeegee Merchants; slightly more noble sounding.

Fact #2: Squeegee-ing can be serious business.

Fact #3: RIP Lindsay

Christian Boltanski’s CHANCE

One of a few installations as part of the Sydney Festival this year @ Carriageworks; quite hypnotic. There is a death counter which was a bit more alarming.

Days of Being Mild – One

Dittman & Terri @ Bombay Sapphire House of Imagination

Around a month into my stay in New York, I decided to be somewhat productive and purchased an easy-to-use action video cam to document my various misadventures around town, as well as Europe and beyond. The result was almost 10 hours of footage varying from absolutely unusable to barely usable. One of the most sad things was probably not capturing 80% of the beautiful and trivial moments I wanted to capture, either due to not whipping out the camera quick enough, not having the balls or simply too enamored at the time.

Anyway, this is the first piece of rotten fruit borne from all those hours of annoying camera-pointing. Don't enjoy it.

saucisse de sur du pain

20120729-163925.jpg

Also known as the sausage on bread.

Boiled Coles cocktail sausage, tomato sauce and Japanese mayo on a white piece of bread. Put the sausage on the bread diagonally so as much bread as possible covers the sausage. Consume with a plate as there will be bread crumbs. Cheese optional.

Serves 1.

18/02/12 The Pigeons

20120222-214124.jpg

Took a day off for myself away from the city and looked at pigeons in the park opposite my folks in Hurstville. They are more peaceful and less easily frightened then the ones in the city. I think the ones in the city are generally more stressed.
