Haven't been this excited about an album release in a while :) I hope the richness of the latest preview of "Fallout" from Neon Indian's upcoming September album Era Extraña speaks for the entire album when it comes out in September. Would it be wrong of me to say it sounds like it has a "my bloody valentine" shoegazer angle to it, let alone looks like it too?

There are also two video snippets of the HEART electro instrumentals which are also going to appear on the album.  A different direction away from his first album Psychic Chasms, but definitely welcoming. 80s-esque lo-fi TV synths and samplings? Sign me up please!

Some stuff from their most recent album Barking popped up randomly on my playlist and I was just reminded that I have the CD + DVD set when it first came out late last year buried somewhere in my mess from moving. Need to find it!

One of my favourite tracks that came out of the album was Moon in Water; a lot more mellow than their usual, but it seems every time musicians creep out of their comfort zones, something amazing can occur.

Brilliant first-release track from Digitalism's latest EP which first surfaced around mid October. No Pogo, but this track almost got me mistaking them for Daft Punk and their heavy electric guitar synth thing. Currently have it on heavy rotation at work and bobbing my head away through it all. Won't be surprised if this started getting heavy rotation on the radio soon and some remixes, but probably not until people get over Duck Sauce and that Barbara Streisand tune.
